Painted in Watercolours, gouache and acrylics.

I had a whole different idea for the background in mind, but went with this instead.

I sprinkle salt over the watercolours while it's still wet. :)

I'll tell you how I did them :)

First I added a base wash of watercoulours/salt. I let it dry before I did regular circles and applied a second and third wash of watercolours to make the outline of some circles and to defy them some.
At some places I followed the pattern that the salt had made.

Well done, I thought you might have used some sort of stencil because the circles look really accurate! I gotta try this salt stuff out, for sure. Tah! :)

Oh, yes I've used a stencil (a mug :P ) to make the circles. With salt you can never decide how the pattern will look!
